Myosyn is a network that connects anyone who likes to cook from the comfort of their own home, selling to those looking for fresh, healthy and conveniently delivered dinner. We provide a safe and regulated platform in which to do so, vetting the chefs, their kitchens and their recipes by way of professional chefs and nutritionists, ensuring that we provide the healthiest options to those looking for nutritious alternatives to the typical take-out options. Did we mention we also tend to be more affordable than restaurants?
How do I become a chef?
If you love to cook healthy meals and want to earn money from home, you could be the perfect fit! Submit your information via the link on the Become a Chef page and we will contact you with further details asap and set up a time to meet. After our initial Q&A confirming your suitability, we will send a team consisting of a Myosyn rep, chef and nutritionist to your home to assess your kitchen and prep area, as well as the recipes you’re hoping to cook and sell- and snag a taste of the goods. Once the chefs and nutritionists have approved your repertoire, you are almost ready to get cookin! See the Become a Chef section for additional details!
How are your chefs chosen?
Chefs are selected through a vigorous process to ensure the health, quality and safety of the food and areas of food preparation. Each chef will first meet with a Myosyn approved professional chef and nutritionist to approve each recipe- making sure each one is of the highest quality and health standards. Each chef must complete a food preparation course offered by the city of Toronto, which further ensures our chefs are well versed in proper food handling, storage, cooking practices and safety procedures. This course is a requirement for all food-related services, including commercial restaurants. Myosyn takes the guess work out of your take-out- from all perspectives- we provide transparency of information and demand the same from our chefs!
How can I trust the chefs and the food they serve?
Chefs are just like any other restaurant you eat at, they are monitored by Toronto Public Health and their inspectors. Myosyn also has policies in place for health and food safety. To go above and beyond the minimum legal requirements and to put consumers’ minds at ease, Myosyn makes sure every chef follows our policies and procedures by having implemented random audits on all of our chefs.
Do you deliver?
Yes, we do! We understand that you are busy and we appreciate time is everyone’s most prized commodity so we provide fast and efficient service. We offer a pick up and delivery service, from chef’s door to your mouth!
How did Myosyn come about?
Health has always been a huge focus and value in our lives. In our busy day-to-day routine, and after noticing a lack of health-conscious food delivery services to help support our values AND our hectic schedules, Myosyn emerged!
Can I change or cancel my order once I have placed it?
You have up to 24 hours to change your mind. We appreciate that our chefs need ample time to prepare your delicious meals so we ask that you respect the 24-hour window of cancellation or change.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Visa, MasterCard, and Visa debit or MasterCard debit.
What happens after I place my order?
You will receive a confirmation email, outlining your order. Please contact the chef directly ASAP should you need to change or cancel your order. After you have received your order and have had a chance to sample it, you will be asked for your feedback. Please take time to do so as your feedback is the most valuable information Myosyn AND the chefs can receive; despite the feedback being positive or negative- we want to know! This ensures the quality of our chefs and our food- we strive to provide the best!
I have an issue with my order after having received my meal. Who do I contact?
Get a hold of us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll help you sort out any issues. If you feel the issue is emergent and requires immediate assistance (contamination, poisoning, etc.), contact the appropriate authorities and then contact us.
Who is the perfect Mysosyn chef?
Love to cook? Friends rave about your skills and have suggested you could cook for a living? Have an idea of what makes meals healthy and nutritious? Want to make some passive income? Then Myosyn is for you! This platform allows you to be entrepreneurial in spirit, as you set your own timeline and prices, while giving you the tools with which to run a business without all the admin headaches.

Can a chef be removed from the site?
We expect our chefs to provide the highest quality of food and service. If we have repeated complaints and/or reviews pertaining to either the quality, health or provision of meals, we will remove a chef from our platform. This further stresses the importance of customers’ feedback! At Myosyn we also perform random kitchen checks- if the hygienic practices in any way are called into question or if food preparation is not being held to our strict standards, the chef may also be removed.

Direct coaching with our team of professionals to provide any help you may need: legal advice, culinary input, nutritional counseling. You name it, we’ve got you covered!
Can professional chefs and/or caterers participate in Myosyn?
Yes. However, they will be put through the same vetting process as our amateur chefs!
How many options of meals should I provide?
As many or as few as you wish! You may choose to post the same options week-to-week, or you may want to offer variance of food and recipes. You may want to provide one meal that you’ve mastered or six different meals- it’s your business! We do recommend that you provide at least three main dishes, two salads, and four sides options to give your customers variety. As long as your recipes are approved by our team, you’re good to go. We suggest you do switch up your menu every 3-4 months to drive more traffic to your specific page and to keep your loyal customers from getting tired of the same old thing.
What can I do if I receive negative feedback?
Unless the comment is abusive, we cannot change or delete feedback. We use this feedback to ensure the integrity of our platform and so that future customers feel confident that we are not filtering information. If there continues to be negative feedback, we will contact you to investigate further.
How do chefs get paid?
Chefs are paid out biweekly by direct deposit or cheque.
